Business Description

This is a great opportunity for a new owner who wants to get on board with online sales through venues such as Amazon, Ebay, Wal-Mart, and more. Online is here to stay and this company is jumping in revenues regularly with shipping to multiple Amazon FBA warehouse sites to fulfill product from there as well!
Product offerings range from pet clothes to meds and collars (they don't currently sell pet food). There are very few products that have expiration date issues, and most are smaller size in nature to limit needed fulfillment space.
The company has been in business for over a decade, and have continually expanded in its warehouse until moving into where they are now. The seller plans to keep the building so the E-Commerce line will need to be moved to another location anywhere in the contiguous United States. Since a large portion of the business gets fulfilled by Amazon warehouses, it's not necessary to have a space for the remaining shipments beyond possibly 2,500-3,000 sq ft.
Product suppliers are in place, and there are over 350,000 unique addresses of buyers in their database and over 100k Facebook fans.

Building SF:
The seller will be keeping the warehouse for another company he owns. The line will need to be moved and will require only about 2500-3000 sq ft because of the volume of shipments going directly from Amazon warehouses. It can be located anywhere in the continental US. Optimal would be to co-locate it with another E-Commerce or product fulfillment company with extra capacity because then overhead is spread over more revenue and costs are incremental. Another option besides having a new warehouse would be to distribute the product out of a 3PL (third party logistics) provider. There are multiple around the country with many having multiple site locations possible.
The pet industry revenue is in the billions so there is obvious competition, but he doesn't try to compete in food where many of the larger ones focus. Instead, the seller honed in on a particular niche area with a few focused items that has served him well.
Growth & Expansion:
Since the breadth of the pet supply items being sold is so narrow, a new owner could expand into other products for canines as well as diversify into feline items or other domestic breed products. In addition, online ad campaigns through social media and emails would most likely reap rewards along with loyalty programs and auto ship scheduling.
Not available
Support & Training:
Owner is committed to a viable transition knowing that changing locations and a few employees will require significant training as well as another key employee would potentially assist for an agreed upon time.
Reason for Selling:
Owner has another company he is working on that is his long term passion.
