I graduated from the University of Washington and went straight into the international area of imports. I was a licensed broker within 3 years of entering the field and opening numerous branches for international companies. I owned my own brokerage company from1995 to 2002 and retired from the industry in 2005. At the same time I owned a couple espresso stands with a gimmick; a proud accomplishment was beating Starbucks and Tully’s to win the 5 year contract with the Seahawks Stadium for all coffee vending. I sold my last store to a licensee in 2009 and dove head first into the commercial real estate world, specializing in business sales and I have loved every minute of it. I have proven to be a Top Producer since the day I started. Averaging a close a month in a recessed economy was my achievable goal when I started out. Now reading it it was huge at the time, but I have accomplished so much more than that now. After selling my espresso business in 2009 I thought what am I going to do? I decided to marry my professional experience as a custom broker (reading financials, working with some large named companies) and my years as a small business owner of the espresso business together and start helping other business owners sell their businesses as well. I knew the struggle first hand of running a small to medium business and all the hats an owner is forced to wear and that is important to be relate to the sellers, understanding the successes and failures and getting them into the next phase of their life. I knew when I decided to sell I didn't know where to turn. I thought should I call a real estate company (well that's like calling the mechanic to clean my teeth). I did my research and found where I belong. Every time I have the opportunity to meet a new seller I always come back saying "I love what I do" . Each persons story is unique and fascinating and I am a great listener. When we meet, during your transaction, I am your therapist, your priest, your rabbi, whatever you believe in because together we can make this happen, whatever it is you want.Most of my adult life I have worked for myself and been successful at it and the number one reason is because I treat customers the way I want to be treated, with respect and understanding.
