Rob Lewis serves as President and Senior Intermediary with Deploy Business Advisors, Inc., specializing in custom professional advisory and brokerage services for on-going business enterprises. As a Certified Business Intermediary, Rob is uniquely credentialed in his region with proven skills to assist business owners with the preparation, pricing, packaging, and marketing of businesses for sale. Bringing a personalized, differentiating level of value-added services to his clients, Rob is experienced in facilitating financing/ loan packaging through the SBA and USDA governmental programs and with lenders looking to place business acquisition loans with low equity capital for qualified borrowers.

Prior to forming Deploy Business Advisors, Rob spent the previous 5 years working in a high-volume, commercial real estate office with TRADD Commercial of Myrtle Beach, specializing in multi-level business deals containing commercial real estate components in addition to on-going business enterprises. Recognizing an apparent need for professional M&A support across all commercial real estate companies and platforms in the regional market, Rob recently spun-off his program expertise from the parent company in order to better and more efficiently service a larger client pool and referral base.

Rob compiled over 25 years of operational management experience in Fortune 100 companies working for large corporations including Milliken & Company, Burlington Industries, AlliedSignal, Ryder TRS, and Budget Group. He also served in an Assistant Project Manager role in Cape Canaveral, FL with a private military contractor servicing FEMA, USACE, and the DOD. Electing not to relocate abroad with the DOD, Rob returned to Horry County in 2013 to be with his wife and two boys at home. While his career included working in large markets such as NYC and Denver, previous small business consulting and transactional advisory work in the Carolinas led to a passion for serving the privately-held, family-owned sector. Rob is a direct descendant of the original Peter Horry family- the namesake of Horry County, SC- and is proud to serve South Carolina as 1 of 4 fully accredited business brokers in the state and the only active CBI in the Grand Strand region.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of South Carolina and earned his MBA from the University of South Carolina Graduate School of Business in Columbia, South Carolina. Rob is a licensed commercial real estate agent REALTOR (Lic.#40348) in South Carolina, a member of the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors, and a designated Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) through the IBBA.
